Wootteo Tutorial

I have a new tutorial on YouTube to make this adorable character from The Astronaut, a song by Jin of BTS. I fell in love with Wootteo the second I saw it and couldn’t resist crocheting my own. I ended up with two versions of the doll, one crocheted with light yarn and the other one with medium-sized yarn. I also made modifications to the head (the first version is crocheted vertically, and the other, horizontally). The tutorial I uploaded on YouTube is for the second version, which I liked the best.

The doll is about 8 inches tall, crocheted with a 2.75mm hook. The instructions are quite easy (single crochet, increase and decrease). I used felt for the face and used a printing of the original doll to cut it. It’s a great project for beginners who understand the basics. it’s a really fun and easy project.

My Wootteo has joined my Jin doll and they now keep each other company! They both wear pigtails inspired by the Squid Game doll so they match perfectly!

I hope you will enjoy this tutorial. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me in the comments. Happy crocheting!

Shooky Halloween Version

I uploaded a tutorial to make a Halloween version of Shooky. The base (body, arms, and legs) are the same as the original Shooky Tutorial, I just added wings and horns and changed the colors. I think it’s a really cute Halloween edition and I hope you will have fun making it!

Happy crocheting!

Jack In The Box Key Chain

I posted a new tutorial on Youtube, inspired by the Jack in the Box doll concept of J-Hope’s album. It’s an easy and fun project to crochet, you only need to know basic stitches such as single crochet, increase and decrease. I hope you will enjoy this tutorial, and if you have any questions, please let me know in the comments.

Happy crocheting!

JK Black Swan hair tutorial

I uploaded the hair tutorial for my JK Black Swan doll. It’s the last video of the series, there are five in total to complete the doll. You can also use this tutorial as a base for any doll you want to make. There are many ways to create hair for amigurumi dolls, but this one is my favorite because I love the end result. The process takes a little bit of work but it’s worth it!

Black Swan JK – parts 3 and 4

I uploaded parts 3 and 4 of my JK Black Swan tutorial on YouTube. One for the face and chain, and the other for the jacket. The series is almost complete, I just need to work on the hair. The last tutorial will be available in the next couple of weeks.

The pattern for the body of the doll is available on ETSY. It can be used to make this doll or any amigurumi projects:

I am a bit behind on my blog, I have four more completed projects to post about! I will update it all very soon. In the meantime, happy crocheting!

Black Swan JK – part 2

I uploaded the second part of the tutorial for my Black Swan Jungkook. In the last video, I showed you how to crochet the pants. The second part is about the boots.

To learn more about this project go to my introductory post: Black Swan JK.

I am currently working on the third part of the tutorial for the face, ears, and chain accessory. I will give you an update very soon!

Black Swan JK

Do Your Thang, Do Your Thang With Me Now… I love this song, Black Swan. I went to BTS concert last year and I will never forget that particular performance. I always wanted to crochet a BTS Black Swan doll, and last month I finally had time to do it but it was hard to pick out one out of all seven. I finally opted to crochet JK with his cropped vest because I had little all the accessories available in my craft box. The pattern I used for the body is the same I crocheted for my Love Cell Doll, and it is now available on ETSY.

I only had to use two different colors of yarn because the outfit is all black, with black hair. I used wool yarn for the hair that I brushed with a pet brush. I used embroidery thread to make the mouth, which was also another inspiration to make the doll because JK had a lip ring that was fun to recreate.

I had so much fun making it, and a lot of people told me that they loved it so I decided to film a series of tutorials to show how I made the clothes and hair. I uploaded the first video two days ago. There will be a total of five videos for each piece. The last one will be about the hair. Here is the introductory video:

I also uploaded the first tutorial of the series, about the pants:

The next one will be a tutorial to make the shoes. I will upload it next week 🙂

Bt21 Tata Tutorial

I uploaded a crochet tutorial on YouTube to make a TaTa doll with a purple scarf. This was my last of the bt21 series, I have crocheted all of them (except for Van). My TaTa is about 7 inches tall, I crocheted it with a 2.75mm hook and Caron Simply Soft yarn. I hope that you will enjoy it, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me!

Happy crocheting!

Fish Wind Chime

BTS recently released some artist merch on their website that they each created and one of them was a bungeo-ppang wind chime by Namjoon (RM). I really wanted it but unfortunately, it was sold out by the time I tried to buy it.

Since I was unlucky with my purchase I decided to make my own version in crochet. I bought some grey and orange yarn to recreated the model, and a little grey beaded chain for the decor.

This was actually a fun project but it took me a little bit more time than expected because I filmed the pattern in the process to release on my YouTube channel.

I am really happy to share this pattern with other fans, I uploaded the tutorial last week and I know a few people already made their own. I am really glad that it was easy for them to crochet, I tried to make it as simple as I could. Happy crocheting!

New Tutorial on YouTube

I started the year with a crochet tutorial that was highly requested on my YouTube, a little Jin doll in RJ costume. This is the last doll of the Bangtan series I started at the beginning of last year. Initially, I was going to make all of them in their animal emoji costume but after doing a poll a majority voted for RJ instead of the hamster emoji.

The tutorial is very easy, you just need basic knowledge of crochet stitches such as single crochet, increase and decrease. It is best to use the same yarn for all the pieces or the proportions might not fit (especially for the head and hoodie). I hope you will enjoy this pattern and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me!
